Expert advice on Minnie Minoso Lot on eBay

Howdy folks,
My father has been as avid Minoso fan since Minoso started playing in the Majors, and had my Grandmother send him Newspaper clippings while in Vietnam. Well while visiting him last night he started talking about how he wished he would have kept all his cards, etc. So we looked on eBay and this Minoso Lot on eBay caught his eye. The seller is asking 219.99 for the lot, but seems kind of high to me for the condition the cards are in. His birthday is coming up in a month so I want to get him some cards. Any advice on that lot would be appreciated! Thank you in advance.

I am also a Minnie fan and have all those cards in that lot signed by Minnie and the total still doesn't go as high as that auction asking price. My advise would be to just go on ebay and buy each Minnie separately. The most expensive would be his Caramelo Deportivo Negro League cards but even they would only cost around $100, his 52' Topps should cost no more than $20-$30 in nice condition. Good luck ,
Dan
