My best rip ever - 2012 mini - scans

I got caught up in the 2012 mini box countdown to zero and bought a dozen. Just opened the second box today and pulled the Trout auto. I have dropped more cash than I would have expected on the recent group rips. The scans indicate I didn't walk away empty handed, but nothing like going home with the prom queen. I know there's little confidence in modern, and Trout has plenty of time to go Charbenoueaiyux on us, but this was a real thrill.

It's like shooting a 115 but birdying the 18th. I guess I am back in when Micron organizes the next one.

Good luck with your packs boys.

Congrats on the pull. Now throw it up on ebay and you won't have to wait to see if he pulls a "Joe Charboneau".
    STAY HEALTHY!

    Nice Trout,

Last two on ebay went for $405 auction and $399 BIN

Currently only my PSA 10 on ebay with a high BIN.

Prime for a new one to show up.

Good luck if you list it.

    Love that Sandberg.

In addition to the Trout, the Sandberg and Mattingly looks nice. Great hits.

    Thanks,

    Congratulations!

    Very nice pulls.

I never pulled a Ryno that well centered! Sweet.

  • Believe it or not, the Sandberg came out of a vending box which I added to the packs from the rip before last. A lotta rough looking cards in there, but the Sandberg came out as pristine as any card I have seen come out of a pack. Of everything in my, "to be submitted once I re-subscribe to PSA" list - that Sandberg is odds on favorite to come back with the highest grade. The Mattingly was from the last rip. The scan does not indicate the fish eyes on the cap and to his right of the cap. I think an 8 or 9.

I guess when I pull focus, no gripes. Just wish I would have kept the 73 Topps baseball wax intact.

Joe - thanks for the VCPs. With Trout, I might go for the auto set but its good to know market value. I checked out ebay about 3 minutes after pulling the card and saw the Trout - which turns out to be yours. Hopefully the 2 offers have been reasonable. One of the watchers on it is now me

The two offers were from the same person-nice guy. If it does not sell I will run it as an auction. If you decide on doing the auto set I have Gio Gonzalez and Neil Walker.
