A tougher 1837 token from the manufacturer that struck more then 25% of all Hard Times tokens, along with the 1847 Hawaii Cents and the 1860's New Haven Fugio Restrikes.
They are still in business today and make most all buttons and clasps for jeans and infant clothing.
To Err Is Human.... To Collect Err's Is Just Too Much Darn Tootin Fun!
Bought a couple tough ones - CWT's struck over 1857 and 1858 FE cents. Nice, strong undertype on both.
"My friends who see my collection sometimes ask what something costs. I tell them and they are in awe at my stupidity." (Baccaruda, 12/03).I find it hard to believe that he (Trump) rushed to some hotel to meet girls of loose morals, although ours are undoubtedly the best in the world. (Putin 1/17) Gone but not forgotten. IGWT, Speedy, Bear, BigE, HokieFore, John Burns, Russ, TahoeDale, Dahlonega, Astrorat, Stewart Blay, Oldhoopster, Broadstruck, Ricko, Big Moose, Cardinal.
Picked up this 11 D in a ICG holder to fill a hole in my Capitol Board. Unfortunately, my other MS example which was an RPM # 5 or the questionable D/S variety, was requested for pictures by a well known Dealer/Variety expert over a year ago. Emails to this individual and now a letter I wrote 5 weeks ago requesting this coin back have gone unanswered. Other folks are not reaching him by phone, etc. I hope nothing has happened to the guy, so I will wait just a bit longer. And yes, you can PM me if you want to know who this is as I would be buying anything from him until we find out whats up.

ChangeInHistory- though yours is but an unpretentious circulated coin, I like the look of it. Great pictures.
Of course the eyecandy factor is always nice on these C4TW threads. It's an excellent forum institution. I forget who started it, but hats off to him or her.
DUIGUY- nice to see those again!
For my C4TW selection, I will post something I just paid about a quarter for. It was part of a really sweet 500-600-piece bulk lot.

Check THIS out.
Therein you shall see one of the myriad reasons I am a Darksider to the core of my soul.
Or if you don't feel like reading the other thread, just take a look at this excerpt from the 2009 Krause catalog.
PS- that was NOT the only cherry picked from that lot. I'm still working at it. There may be other pleasant surprises to come.
Thanks, the pics are coming along with the help of many forum members........ and you'll really like next weekends contribution.
