<< <i>Teletrade 99.9% of the coins go to collectors as the sales price is high and there is a 15% buyers fee.
Don't know about Heritage as they have too many hoops to jump through to track prices. >>
Now that is about as good an answer to that question as you'll get. I couldn't see dealers paying the kind of hammered price that Teletrade gets for most of their auctions or pay the kind of postage that TT charges.
At Heritage there seems to be lower prices on a small amount of auctions so I would think that more dealers buy from them rather than TT.
Define "dealer". I am sure there are a number of wanna-be dealers that buy there and try to flip on ebay right away. Also, I seem to recall Mitch (Wondercoin) buying off TT, but not sure if that was mainly for his personal collections or for business.
If the purchase is a name, and not a company, I don't see how TT, or any of the others, could really state it was a dealer buying as a dealer. Even when Mark Feld buys, if he does it just as "Mark Feld", then how would they know/care? They get paid and isn't that the main thing they care about?
By dealer I was referring to anyone purchasing with the intent to resell, not collect. I was just curious if anyone had any idea. I know at the few auctions I have attended, as a collector, I much prefer bidding against a dealer who I'm pretty sure is going to be reselling.

Why wouldn't this be true for H too? Really hard to "win" anything that has much upside left! Really, one could begin to track this if you watch the auctions and then check dealer inventorys. (and you have nothing better to do for a while). I, as a "collector", have been outbid by many "dealers" that in some cases had to reauction coins at a loss after they could not sell them in a year or more. I have also lost out on some real nice upgrades that were well worth "overpaying" (because you were not) for and a pro dealer did a good job.
I rememeber one CC half that went form MS64 to 66 !

I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment
