1947 & '48 Double Mint Set Question for the Audience...

What would you be willing to pay for nice 1947 or 1948 double mint sets, with pretty nice color and all original packaging, including stamped external mailing envelopes...being sold by a known reliable seller?

I'm being offered both individually...but always feel like I'm overpaying since (by definition) they're not sealed and slabbed.

For me it would all depend on eye appeal of the coins. There is a wide real-world range in a verbal assessment of "pretty nice color".

If you could somehow post photos, I think it might help (me at least!)

As a collector I would pay a top price of 2K for both truly original and nice matched untampered with color sets, but dont expect any high grade coins as sets with monster color and technically gem coins have been cherry-picked.
