Even so, after 5 years and many posts, not to mention several PM's to her from forum members in the past
(including yours truly) regarding these types of posts, this is just unacceptable and this thread should be poofed.

i have thought of a nice way to explain why some of us prefer not to be targeted for unsolicited marketing threads like this one.
we see ourselves as high school girls, and the marketers are the high school boys. need i say more
it is slightly abusing the fact so many of us choose to come here with our experience and money and prefer not to have targets on us if that helps explain some of the severe reactions
there is probably an appropriate place for marketing on this forum, this place not being it

C. It is called fairness, if I did it I would be called to task. I should know the rules by now and so should everyone else.
D. I too like the heads up, and I always thought why not let all the members use this forum to sell and to buy, but I was obviously ove-rruled and the BST was created for just that purpose, so it appears one can't have it both ways. So either we treat EVERYONE the same or we do away with the BST. It is a matter of fairness and consistency and nothing more. >>
