Now that he is tied with the set, will he break the tie before the auction? Or will the JKaumaff upgrade prior to the auction? and take 4th outright?

    Stay tuned!

It's weird.... in the current finest... there is no number 5 spot! Jumped from 4 to 6? All time finest is the same way. 5 to 7th? Weird, must be a "bug" in the system if the points are tied. But Dpoole set is 100% RED!

Not a bug. A lot of ranking systems will not include a #2 if there are two tied for #1. It would go #1, #1, #3.

Congrats to Dpoole on the upgrades. Won't be long until he's at the top of the heap.

Congrats, but I hate to break the news, he is #4 because of rounding and alphabetical order. Angle Dee has one more point than David Poole :<

Sonof@gunk what do you mean? I see both sets with 67.84 both in Set Rating and Weighted GPA.

But Dpoole set is 100% RED vs 97% for JK/A.Dees

Sorry about the "Sonof@gunk " the censor made me change it! ????

    Gunk,

You are wrong on one point. Since the rounded score is a tie, Dpoole's is higher because his was registered first. That's in the rules somewhere. They don't go on alphabetical in the listings.

I like that tie breaker. I am sure that David can pick up one more point (or 2) somewhere!!!

( registered first ) ???? Really??? I thought a tie would then go to % Red? Makes sense to me. ????

It's a Registry wide tiebreaker. However, for sets like this, a higher % Red, FBL, FH, or whatever, should get the recognition it deserves.

I'd like to thank my loving wife, my adoring children, my sainted mother, my heroic father, my 5th grade math teacher and all the little people who have assisted me to this lofty pinnacle (*sob*).

I would also like to thank Spooly, who gutted his collection in a trade to get me upgrades on my 1927 and 1952-D.

sono(*censored*)unk--despite the fact that you bring unhappy news, I have to admit that I am in awe!

Ok I just got a e-mal form BJ:

The first registered set is the one that comes first in ties (not alpha),
which is why DPoole's set shows up first. The percentage of RD has (or
should have been) already calculated in the GPA. That RD percentage is
merely for reference. Finally, when there are ties, we don't count them 4,
5, we count them 4,4 because they are both in fourth place. Does that all
    make sense?
