Hi - thanks for looking. I have been meaning to list more on the BST, so I figured that I would re-start a daily coin listing.
Prices are firm - for the BST, I have already priced these items at the lowest price I can. Prices are delivered, for check payment. Paypal OK, but add 3%. Seven day, no questions asked return policy. Take care.
Chris - Somerset Hills Coin
Today is a really neat coin. This is the 1861-O Liberty Seated half dollar, minted under the auspices of the Confederate States of America. This can be determined by an obverse die crack, from Miss Liberty's nose to the rim, that is also seen on the handful of Confederate half dollars that were minted. PCGS estimates the survival at a mere 50 pieces (two graded in MS at PCGS, and 10 in AU), and CSA obverse is noted on the holder. The die crack is especially bold on this example, and can be clearly seen even in my mediocre pictures. A truly rare and thoroughly interesting piece. Just one problem - what do I have to do to get an AU grade?
Offered at $3,500.
