    And the link is... where?

I clicked the one in your sigline, and kept getting an "about:blank" page.

    Cool article.

Regarding the 1921 Circulated Morgan Sample in the OGH, you should note that although all of the labels for those samples say "1921" for the date, you can find 1921-D and 1921-S coins as well in those holders and collecting all 3 of the 1921 Sample Morgans isn't that difficult with some patience.
  • Hi illini420
That is very true and I should have realized that when I wrote the article.
Just forgot all about it, with all the research I had to do, thanks for the feed back and for the help.

Ah. Figgered it might be something like that. Just had a wee freezeup myself. I wondered if it was just me.

    Off to read, now...

    (Back)

Hey, those are kind of neat. In a strange way, they're a bit more appealing to me than a bunch of generic BU widgets of the same date. Doing a circ set of sample slabs by date (year, at least, if not date and mint) might be fun, to those who are so inclined. Not me, but I'd enjoy looking at somebody else's endeavors there.

Oh, yeah, I just had a quick peek at the ICG world coin samples. Like 'em!

    Alan:

Here are a couple for you - don't know if the "Circ" was a sample or not.

the 1889 is not a sample

There are lots of "samples" not labeled as such but given out for example by Random House, Ruffco, CameoCC, Bowers and others.

You might consider them "salesman samples". Just depends on how you choose to collect.
