Stupid question, I am sure I will take my lumps

On the cardsavers PSA supplies is there a trick you use to slide your cards in? I am having trouble.image

I couldn't figure it out the first time I used card savers either. What you have to do is pinch the sides inward slightly, which creates a space to slide the card in.
Before you become an expert, you have to be careful, as it is pretty easy to damage the card if you do it wrong.

Meaning I use a penny sleeve before I place it inside the holder. image

Practice with some junk wax Topps. You'll get the hang of it in no time.

    So will PSA accept that?

Thanks for the advice so far, I guess practice would be my best bet and peeny sleeve if allowed.

  • penny sleeve is part of the PSA suggested packaging guidelines now -
pinch and push is the right technique - i find doing it ina cool dry room helps everything move around more easy - might be worth a swipe with your finger to make sure the card save sepeartes cleanly as they tend to bunch up and stick when packaged.

I almost felt like I needed some sort of little machine/claw or a third hand to hold it wide open while inserting a card.

They also don't seem to slide very easily in, could I use some baby powder?image
