    I wish we (our Nation) could get the "we are one" kind of feeling back that followed in the months after the attack.
    That didn't last long enough imo and may be part of the problem why we're at where we are now, again. Just a thought.
    I always say when this comes up, Never forget what happened and work harder so it doesn't happen again.
    To forgive is to free a prisoner, and to discover that prisoner was you.

    I lived three blocks from the WTC and I still have not been back to the area since I was forced to move. Not a day goes by I don't think about it or that I'm not touched by it.

    There remains so much symbolism and change for me prior and after that date.

    That is the first day I bought an ounce of gold. Sadly.

    I have friends that feel the same as you, MJ. Left Manhattan and haven't returned.

    I also know many that haven't returned. I moved from Tribecca to Soho and then the West Village and eventually to Williamsburg (Brooklyn) after 9/11 and up to 2005. I have never been south of Canal St since since that fateful day. Just can't. MJ

    I think you may have missed the point of 9/11.

    We now have the dramatic advantage of living in a police state. It would not have been possible to turn our republic into a socialist dictatorship without this very important fals flag operation! Yeah homeland security, yeah FEMA, yeah TSA, yeah NSA, and all the other government agencies that keep us safe from fear.
