Yeah, that looks like a great price. Nice coin too, if the reverse is as nice as the obverse.
You seem on top of things, do you think that '75 was too expensive? After checking the April Pop report I see there are 100 DCAMs (or less) in all grades each year for '71-'75. I remember paying up for my '71 and the pop still says only 3 in 69 DCAM.
I think the price for the 75 is very high. THere is a huge difference between a 71 dcam and a 75dcam. IMHO, this coin should be way under $100. The main problem with Jeffs right now is availability. It is not that they don't exist, just not many have found there way into slabs yet. One could probably make some money going through some proof sets for good examples. I don't expect the pop on the 1971 to take off much at all, but look for the others to start creeping up. Again, just my opinion.
if my recent search for a few dates---72 through 75---in PCGS 69 DC means anything, i'd say the pop's must be close as reported. the only date i see with an kind of regularity is the 74 on teletrade and i can't seem to place a winning bid!! what i've been using lately are the pop's as reported in the registry sets themselves, and those can be screwy sometimes.
just for fun, take a look at the eBay 1975 in 69DC. such a deal!!
