OT - local videographer did a documentary on my band...

Thought some of you might like to see what a fellow collector does in his downtime. My band recently played a comeback show, and a local film prodcuer took an interest in our music and thought it's be interesting to follow us around on day of show. We just got the final product back, and I thought it came out really good:

Hope you enjoy!!

  • Very Cool. Came out nicely. The guitarist reminds me of Tremonti from Creed. Thats a good thing btw image

If you guys have a cd, let us know and where we can purchase.

  • Thanks for taking the time to watch, glad you liked it. Yup, that's me on guitar, and yes I have heard the Tremonti compassion before image We don't have our CD for sale online but you can download a few tracks from here. Yeah, our singer (and all of us really) like to have a few brews... after all it's only rock n' roll image

Very cool. Nice to see that the Gainesville music scene is still doing well. I was in also in a band there in the mid 90s, had several friends that were and have played at common grounds. Good stuff. Best of luck! image
  • Thanks again fellas for taking the time to check this out, as you can tell my music means a lot to me so I'm glad you like it. Hallco that's awesome! The mid 90's was about the time I started getting into the Gainesville scene; bands like Bloom, Big White Undies, 9Miles etc...can I ask the name of your band?

I was in a band called "Olivia". Our singer was Amanda Garrigues, who is still active in the music scene there from what I understand. She was also in the band Big Shoals Tract and our guitar player also played with a group called Pollen.
  • Very cool, thanks for posting. I thought it was a nicely done as well. Also can't beat the camera panning to a rock audience and having it be mostly chicks image

I got a jam session lined up this weekend and nothing feels better than rockin' out and entertainin'!!!

  • You're so right, there just isn't another feeling quite like when the music is just flowing out of you and you're totally in the zone. And yeah nothing wrong with female appreciation image

Hallco yeah I've run into Amanda a few times, she's still around doing her thing. If you ever get back to The 'Ville holla and first round is on me.image
