GUNS, PM'S AND COINS or PM'S, COINS AND GUNS

Just out of curiosity I counted the actual number of threads that had the word "GUN" in it, for the PM, US COIN, & World Coin Forums.
There have been 150 threads started relating to Guns.
Now don't get upset, I do not plan to post any more Gun related Posts or let alone start a Thread with Gun as the main topic any time soon and maybe never, but I wont rule out an occasional response.
By the way, Smith and Wesson is in the main stream news as having astronomical sales over the past two years. Might be time to sell some SW stock, maybe right before the election......
(I don't even know if they are publicly traded)

Lol, MJ. Maybe not. I just got back from ordering another S&W.
I knew it would happen.
OUCH
Oh, and forget about the close range, shooting in the dark, I practice a lot crap. Ever read a police report on a shooting? Police train all the time and when it comes time to actually pull the trigger, they only hit the target 1-2 times in 9 shots. Think you can do better?
Many people have survived being shot with a .38. Same cant be said for a round of 00 buck.
Knowledge is the enemy of fear
Just the other day he said that he finally completed a caliber set for a certain bolt action rifle and said that " his collection was complete"
Point is, there are collectors of guns here in America and many of us here on the PM forum have one ( or more) to protect our lives and property from those unscrupulous people that wouldn't think twice about taking anything from us.
I personally take no offence to any firearm post of yours NU, or anyone elses for that matter, in fact I quite enjoy them especially when they have a big bar of PM sitting in the picture close by.
Lol, Just a thought a I'm writing this... Today is a 2nd amendment tax free holiday here in Louisiana, kinda ironic.
Just my 2c
It's all about what the people want...
<< <i>A buddy of mine always shows me pictures of different guns that he acquires and I'll ask him " I thought you already had one of those" and he'll point out a subtle difference to it.

No and they don't certify silver bars either.

Right now, I'm happy I live in gun-free Canada.

But they do have a precious metals forum. They currently do not have a weapons forum, and if they allow one to be created, I am gone from this site.
Weapons talk absolutely has no place on a site that certifies coins as their bread & butter. jmho.

The original quote from the 1870's was "God didn't make men equal.....Samuel Colt made men equal." The Colt 45 Single Action Army model was referred to as the "equalizer".

Given your hate/fear of guns, can I respectfully suggest that when you see the word "gun" in a thread title that you refrain from openning that thread?

If you've ever known a KID that died because they were playing with their parents weapon, maybe you could see what I am trying to say. I do and this is why I feel this way.
The whole chance of the weapon just being there created the situation. Sure, you could blame the parents for not storing/locking the weapon up, but that does not change the fact that a kid died because of the presence of a weapon! Eliminate the weapon from the equation, and the kid is still alive today!
<< <i>Friday afternoon may have been a good time to sell some Smith & Wesson. It was up 12% Friday alone. SWHC is a favorite day trading vehicle of any with a nice ATR.
MJ >>
If the big "O" gets re-elected SWHC might be a good one to own. As long as the Reps keep stonewalling his every move, he may always have so much on his plate that he'll never get around to addressing the gun thing.
That is very similar in appearance to the pawn shop I was in yesterday where they had a plethora of rifles in stock.
Me thinks with the rise in gun sales so too is there a rise in pawning. Deals to be had.
As far as the PM's, nice pocket pieces.

You must be forgetting his (B.Hussein.O) insatiable appetite for Executive Orders bypassing Congress and the majority will of the electorate. His appointment of dictatorial agency heads that by regulation again bypass Congress and pervert the will of the people. Lets hope God has mercy on our Country and instills within the heart of the voters to vote him out of office, that our nations tranquility may be restablished and lengthend.
"Hussein" is Arabic and given mostly to newborn male Shia Islamists. This is a fact, but a name does not determine the person, however some do live up to their name.
The way this man has poorly treated our long time ally Israel, and promoted the Islam Brotherhood in the Whitehouse and in Egypt and throughout the world we just might have to say he is truly living up to his name. Now go buy some Silver and Vote !
<< <i>And if you think that is wrong, the statistics show (as well as common sense) that if a weapon is around, the chance of someone being ACCIDENTALLY shot dramatically increases. >>
Wow, must have been a statistics major. Next thing you know we will learn that the majority of automobile accidents have an automobile involved.

Wow, must have been a statistics major. Next thing you know we will learn that the majority of automobile accidents have an automobile involved.
Yep. Like I mentioned in another thread recently, the city put up a new parking garage a year ago, and there have been 3 or 4 jumpers already. The odds of someone jumping from a parking garage increased dramatically in the past year. Common sense, and statistics both show that if the parking garage had not been built, people wouldn't have jumped from it.
I knew it would happen.
<< <i>Now go buy some Silver and Vote ! >>
If he gets reelected, it'll be positive for PMs... and negative for most everything else.
You know how the administration keeps saying how bad it would be, if not for all their spending? Oh, it's already bad enough, but they might be right - maybe it's already alot worse (without the spending) than anyone is willing to admit.
Problem is, they aren't solving a single problem by bogus money creation and bogus debt creation, by moving obligations from the short end of the yield curve to the long end of the yield curve.
All the money's been spent folks, and we got nothing for it. Bush gave a crappy situation to Obama in 2008, no doubt about it. Now, the charlatan in chief is planning whatever it is that he's planning, and none of it is good.
Killing business activity and then lying about it does nothing but make matters worse. Much worse.
I knew it would happen.

Key words being, they aren't solving a single problem.
IMO they are not even being creative creating the new ones. Can we all spell inflation. Take care. jws

Either it isn't a priority with O or he has more important things ahead of it.; esp. considering the intensity of the opposition that he'd face.
<< <i>I don't fear weapons PerryHall, I fear there's a chance of a crazed maniac holding it, or a kid getting accidentally killed while playing with it. Guns don't kill people, people kill people...but if someone is ignoarnt in respecting what a weapon can do, then that's a problem. Let that be clear. I've never said on here that i hate guns. I hate what guns can do when placed in the wrong or ignorant hands, and talking about them and showing them off only increases the chance of something bad and unnecesarry happening. What purpose is being served by doing so? And if you think that is wrong, the statistics show (as well as common sense) that if a weapon is around, the chance of someone being ACCIDENTALLY shot dramatically increases. Do you see where I'm going with this now???

Nothing wrong with Walmart. The far left hates Walmart since their employees choose not to form a union.
