    Yes, I do love them.
I've also learned, long ago, not to sweat the small stuff or worry about things that just "look weird" as long as my stuff ends up where I expect it to be, in the same condition sent, and in a timely fashion.

Now, as for what you posted:

    What is "funny"?

It was accepted 9/4/12 @ 7:55pm at the Irvine, CA facility and then, just over an hour later, at 9:10pm 9/4/12 in Anaheim, it was processed. Not normal for there? I wouldn't know.
Then, the following day, 9/5/12, it was marked as departed from Anaheim w/ delivery confirmation.

What am I missing that makes it "funny"?

I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

I think he's thinking the funny part is the physical sequencing of the tracking information. Perhaps he's not remembering that each facility uploads their tracking information at different times as it's not aa "realtime" tracking system but a "batch processing" tracking system. As such, actual tracking information can appear out of sequence.

As for Loving the USPS? Yes. I appreciate the effort they put forward to accomodate ME when I let them know what those accomodations are. I appreciate the fact that they handle billions of mail items every day and have a nearly 100% delivery success ratio. I've personally never had a package or parcel lost. Have never had to file an insurance claim and have always had prompt courteous delivery even though I'm right on the cusp of their delivery area (1/4 of a mile onto a private road).

I also appreciate the fact that their overnight delivery prices are lower than the "other guys".

About the only thing I don;t appreciate is the discount rates for junk mail! I believe that they could easily make up their deficit by increasing the charge on "bulk mailing rate"! Perhaps that would minimize the amount of bulk mail they are required to deliver and the amount of bulk mail that I contribute to the landfills?
I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

Electronic info was received two days after it was accepted. That info is generated when the shpping label is printed.

Funny that on the 6th is when the electronic info was recorded but it had already been through
the OPs PO and then into and out of the Sorting PO. Weird. Should have been recorded electronically
    on the 4th.

If you think this is screwy, you should look into their forwarding system. My forwarding PO happens to be in Topeka, KS. So if I have to forward something to a neighbor, the computer would first send it thru Topeka.

  • You need to remember that they didn't get the 5.5 billion dollars due last month for their retirement fund and
they might not get this month's 1.5 billion either. That would make me just a little up tight also. image
