SGC = Sportscard Guaranty, LLC. They are to NGC, what PSA is to PCGS
Thanks for looking!
Sorry, wasn't trying to be a wise guy...didn't know if you knew about SGC. Some people aren't familiar with them.
These cards were my Dad's when he was a kid and had sat in my Grandma's attic for decades. Upon discovery, I went through them and had the more important cards graded by SGC because at the time I preferred NGC for coins (I know, blasphemy! and I have since been converted to PCGS) and SGC would take direct submissions from collectors. It was maybe 12-14 years ago (?) I don't recall exactly. In any event, I don't collect cards very extensively and these were gathering dust so they are now available. There are also a few going up on eBay later tonight.
As for the holders, they are akin to the PCGS "old green holder" for coins, simply an older model.
Thanks for looking at my post!

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.
Peace,
Daniel
