I've had 58s that had this look when I was building my type set. That said, I think this seller is leaving a fair chunk of change on the table by not having better and larger images of this coin.
I agree with the poster. Not sure how scans affect the look of a coin but the reverse looks very worn to me. The banner, the eagle's neck and wing feathers look like a lot of wear.

As mentioned, I have never had a problem with
AU 58 graded coins - it has to be the scan.

So do I, for the most part, but I have handled a few AU58 PCGS dogs this year that had no business having that grade due to lack of luster.
