Submission Question

It says on the PSA site that you should put the cards in a penny sleeve before the Card Savers. I have heard on here that you should just go straight to the Card Savers. Which is it?

Thanks for the help,

  • Hey Rob,
At first glance I thought you were the return of the infamous honey badger! You do not need to put the cards in penny sleeves.
  • I would highly recommend putting them in penny sleeves. I have had cards actually stick to the Card Saver I's.

  • I use Card Saver II if that makes a difference.image

    Hi Rob,

I do not use penny sleeves with my submissions. However, I have heard that the new "shiny" cards can get scratched if you use just the card saver.

Since I do not submit the new stuff, I don't know that from personal experience.

  • Thanks. This is for a bunch of 1976 Topps. I already have them in the Card Saver II's and don't feel llike taking them all out and putting them in penny sleeves. I appreciate everyones feedback on this.
