What a great movie. I can remember them playing that movie on TV almost every year in the 70s. I do remember one time, probably in the late 70s, sitting in a local bar and that movie came on. There were probably 10 - 15 of us sitting at the bar drinking beer. Half way into the movie there was not a dry eye in the place!

I believe that Topps spelled his name incorrectly on the card. His name was "Brian".

They used to show that movie during assemblies at our Junior High in the 70s

  • I can't believe somebody had one. The Piccolo card signed has to be at least a couple thousand. What did it go for? Has to be at least $2,500 for a signed Piccolo 1969 Topps Rookie.
