Print Defects and "Net Grades"...need your help, see pics

Guys,

I have this card which is pretty rare in high grade. It is beautiful and looks to be Mint or at worst NM/MT as currently graded...

It has what looks to be a double exposure?? If I send this to PSA and request no qualifiers what happens?? Do they "net grade" it as a 6, can it pull a 7 or 8 like this??

Thanks Guys

Jeff

You can request a min grade before they reholder.

    Thanks,

I'd leave that card right where it is
    Strong chance PSA says EOT
    Because it probably is

Thanks guys...anyone else with opinion on how they might grade this and how they handle "net grades" with print defects??

    Thanks

I'm not sure that you can get a rid of PD qualifier with a lower grade. It's either a PD or not. Same with the MC qualifier.

I beleive they would say "OF"..out of focus...tough card and series for high grade

Ah, yes, I forgot about the OF qualifier. Rarely seen in the wild.

I haven't seen a card graded with the focus qualifier in at least 10 years. Registration issues are pretty common is this set, '49 Leaf, E90-1, etc. Never seen it effect the grade.
If you can get a straight 5 out of this you'd be better off in a PSA holder than this one. I do agree that the card is suspect for trimming, not liking the right side but it might pass.

Always looking for Topps Salesman Samples, pre '51 unopened packs, E90-2, E91a, N690 Kalamazoo Bats, and T204 Square Frame Ramly's
