How much should I expect to pay for a PCGS MS66+ Morgan? Question answered

Common date no stickers, just nice for the grade. No rainbow toning. I can easily get a PCGS MS66 for just under $300. How much more should the + cost me. TIA.

I would think you would add an additional $100. or so- for a Morgan such as you've described.
Add other accolades on top of the plus grade and the price would rise, of course.

It depends on why the coin was awarded the +.

If an MS67 sells for $900 or so then you might expect to pay around $300, but if an MS67 sells for about $2k then perhaps a little more.

So you are saying a PCGS MS66+ Morgan should cost me about $300 more? Or are you saying a PCGS MS66+ Morgan should cost me the same amount as a PCGS MS66 Morgan? If the later, I should wish I could find that coin.

Interesting. Heritage's search feature is not plus-friendly. Looks like $350 for a common date PCGS 66+ is not unreasonable, though. Might be best to cherrypick through a bunch of 66s, since they're are a lot more of those out there to choose from.

Picked up this PCGS MS66+ Morgan off eBay last night, so I guess the answer is $326.

That's actually a good price IMO, though the images leave one wondering what that rim toning is going to look like in hand. I've seen (and sold) common date 66+ Morgans for $400 if they are real eye poppers.
