Interesting article at http://joeposnanski.blogspot.com/2012/08/morris-vs-reuschel.html

Did you know that Reuschel's WAR is much higher than Morris'?

Was Big Daddy ever considered a star during his prime? His numbers seem to indicate that he played at a pretty high level in the 70s.

He was a star to many of us who watched him on WGN in Chicago when we were growing up. We all used to love to imitate his delivery and was an inspiration to all kids who didnt exactly look like athletes.
I am on a budget and I am not afraid to use it!!
  • Morris slightly ahead in All-Star teams and Cy Young votes; Reuschel well ahead in WAR and ERA+. I'll say they're close enough so that Morris' postseason success puts him ahead

I'll take Saberhagen or John well ahead of either
  • Let's put it this way: Rick was drafted pretty high in many Strat O Matic leagues by those in the know. Paul not so much.
