Hall of fame autographed postcard question.

Hey all,

I am getting ready to list some things on ebay and I found an autographed Dizzy Dean postcard (authenticated by psa) that I forgot that I had. So I wanted to list it as a BIN and started looking at completed auctions. I found some that sold, however these postcards are signed on the front and mine is signed on the back. The ones that sold with the autograph on the front went for over $200. Will it hurt the value of my postcard because it is signed on the back and not the front? Should I list it for what the other completed sales went for?

Any help is much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I collect HOF plaques. Yes, unfortunately it will hurt the value a bit. The purist collector wants the sig on the front. You should be able to sell it for a decent price though; he died 6 years after induction and its not like he was on a show circuit then.

How much do you think I should list it for?

I would just list for 200 or best offer and accept whatever you feel comfortable with.

I agree with the poster above about listing it at $200 and taking what youre comfortable with. I bet you will get an offer right around $150 or so.

  • Thanks for the help everybody image
