PSA/DNA Red Flip group sub Fall 2012 (preliminary interest)

I will be doing another PSA/DNA red flip group submission in a couple of months. I am shooting for the end of October and I wanted to get some preliminary information from everyone. The rules will be the same as last time, which can be found at the top of page 1 from the last group sub. The only difference is that I will also be excepting tallboys/oversized cards ,and they will cost an extra $0.25 per card. The only thing I haven't figured out is if we should sub the oversized cards with a number grade or without. Even though I am extremely organized, I think it might become a pain in the butt to do two separate subs for them since we will already be doing a sub with and without number grades for standard size cards.

For those of you who are interested in participating in the sub, could you please post a rough guestimate of how many cards you would like to sub. If you are interested in subbing tallboys/oversized cards too could you please post if you would like them sub'ed with or without a number grade. I will just go with whatever the majority wants in terms of the oversized card sub. If the majority wants to sub them with a number grade, than thats how we will do it. If the majority only wants to get them slabbed without a number grade, that is fine too. Remember, your total submission must be a minimum of 20 cards. If you have any questions and you haven't read the rules from the first sub, please do so.

Group Sub Rules

Like I said earlier, this is just a preliminary thread just to gage what kind of interest there is. I will have the official group sub posted sometime early next month.

I have a tallboy that I'd want to sub if we also had a grade for the card.

I would submit at least 30 regular sized cards. Is the pricing still $11.50 per card?

At least 25-30, possibly more depending on timing, thanks, Tim
  • I would do 20 at $11.50 if it is the end of October.

Would you allow just "authentic" instead of a number grade in the standard sized red flip?

  • I'd be in if it could be pushed back to December. I have 23 items out to be signed, that I am expecting back in December.

    Sweet...
I got about 25 tallboys to get into slabs John. I'd prefer the non grade on mine
I will have to check the count on the reg sized cards?? I don't think I did any football last time around
and I picked up quite a few more across the board
    I will letcha know
    TIA again!

I would be in for 20-25 regular sized cards, and I don't know if you would have a minimum for tall boys but I would have 6-7 cards.

I can do 10ish, by the end of October.

Moving to New Orleans next month, but should be settled by then.

  • I would like to sub about 10 if I can get in on the group.
  • I'd be in for 25-30. Probably 2-3 tallboys and would prefer no grade.

Any way I can squeeze a signed 62 salada coin in there?

    Thanks

    I'll be in for 10-15.
  • I would do 20 total (14 regular and 6 (1969 Topps tall boys)

It looks like a lot of people have only 10 cards they would like to sub. I will lower the minimum to 10 cards but that is the lowest I can go to help accommodate as many members as possible. If I go any lower it will increase the difficulty of the sub and thats when mistakes happen. I take pride in the fact that there were no mistakes in the last 1000+ card sub last time and I would like to keep it that way.
  • Hi, I would be in for 15-25 cards. thanks,Dave

    John,

Would you be willing to submit an order of BGS/SCG/GAI crossovers for cards that are valued at $200 or less? I have a few that I've been wanting to submit forever....thanks.

  • I will definitely do 15 regular cards and no tallboys.

So that is 15 firm for me by the end of October.

John - I have a JSA encapsulated card I'd like put in the PSA holder. I know it would qualify for the submission - but would that cause you a problem for packing purposes? It's no big deal if it'd be too hard for you, but wanted to ask.
