How do you convert Blue PSA/DNA flips to Red flips?

How do you convert a Blue flip PSA/DNA card to a Red flip with card grade? Obviously you can always crack it out and resubmit it, but there is the risk that it might not pass the second time around. I have a few Blue flips that I would like converted to Red and I was wondering what the proper procedure is? Also, can the cards be submitted when PSA offers a monthly grading special? I would assume you only have to pay for card grading since the autograph has already been authenticated, but I could be mistaken.

Yes, he is correct. You only pay to grade the card, you don't have to pay the autographed rate

<< <i>Cost $35.00 at the National to have a blue flip changed to a red flip. >>
But what was the value of the card you had in the slab?

Customer Service informed me they ARE NOT treated like raw cards and need to be submitted as their own submission... plus an additional $18 for shipping.
So for two 1995 Manufacturer Certified pack pulled Auto's I've paid for PSA/DNA blue flips (I believe all pack pulled auto's pre 1997 have to go through this) + shipping, and now need to submit them on their own submission again to be graded (again, you cannot mix PSA/DNA certified cards with raw cards) + shipping. The fee's at this point far surpass any graded value... ah, the power of the Registry.
I'm posting this for people who want to look up this information in the archives in the future, there seems to be quite a bit of misinformation on the subject.
<< <i>I just had a "Receive Hold" place on a submission in which 2 of the cards were blue flip psa/dna slabbed autos that I wanted the cards graded.

They always meant they are treated as raw cards for cost purposes, but they can't actually be combined with raw cards.

<< <i>So it would be $17 to have a blue flip PSA/DNA card graded for cards valued under $500? It says on the submission form excludes autographs. This is confusing! lol >>
Reese ... the one time I sent in about 25 of them, I was charged the same fee that a raw card would be charged. If the special was $5.00 to slab and grade a raw card, it was also $5.00 to convert a Blue Flip to a Red Flip.
