    Not a MC because 54's don't have a top border, I'd say a 6.

What is it L to Right?

    Good for you.

    MC
    5 mc
    MC

    Could get an OC
It looks 95-5 TB and 90-10 LR so a 7OC if its a 5. Looks to OC to be a straight 6 to me

Im hoping for a 6..The banks is notorious for just a sliver at the top. Currently its in a PSA 5 old label but I think it has a shot at a 6.

Thanks Handy..Do you measure l-r by the yellow cubs logo or his rearend on the card?

To me it looks like 7oc or straight 5, I don't see MC

I was going by his ear. I might be wrong. You have it in hand Im sure its not what I think.
Best of luck. Just giving my opinion

How does it measure at the very bottom where you can see the picture box along his uniform?

    are you asking me?
It looks to be the same as it is centered TB. Am I just looking at this issue way wrong?
    Confused..
  • L/R centering is poor. i think it's graded properly based on the scan (can't tell many things in a scan)

    Here's my 5.5 for reference:

Well anyone really. In measuring side-to-side centering, I think it's easier to measure at the bottom of the picture box than trying to measure near his ear unless there is enough contrast between the photo and the border to determine where to measure from. Technically, I would think that his ear would not be the edge of the photo area, though I could be wrong.

Yeah I see that. I did his ear because it was the easiet to see with the photo given. Couldnt really see how much space was on his sholder.

I don't see a '6'. The top centering to bottom centering looks ok. It is your left to right that is going to be the issue.

I think you are going to find the card will grade a 6oc or perhaps a straight 5. The Banks is a very nice card though. I have had four Banks rookies from PSA 6-7.5. All of my Banks were always slightly off centered left to right but the ass side was the smaller sized border.
Looking for high grade rookie cards and unopened boxes/cases
