Anyone buy a box of 1975 Topps minis from eBay seller hvydbaseball last October?

I bought a box from the seller who broke a case at BBCE in Steve's presence and had the boxes shrink wrapped with BBCE's seal of approval. Steve has confirmed this and the box I received looks brand spanking new.

My question is, has anyone opened a box from this particular sale? I'm interested in what kind of centering in general this case yielded.

Thanks.
Daniel

Someone might correct me, but I think we did a group rip on one of the boxes a couple months back. The cards were very consistently off centered. In fact, the one pack I bought gave me nothing remotely gradable.

I am not sure if that means you can expect more of the same from the rest of the case or not...someone with more experience with unopened stuff may have a better idea

  • The last group rip on Minis was only a few months ago. I don think they've been up on Steve's site since last October. I'd imagine since it's still sealed, it like 90 percent of the Minis, off in some way or another.

These minis did not come from Steve - they were just shrink wrapped by him as the case was opened in his presence. I suppose if I get courageous enough, I can always open a pack to see the centering. Of course, then I lose the BBCE 'seal of approval'.

You won't know unless you open a couple packs unless the person who sold the case knows what kind of cards are inside by the case batch # on the outside of the box.
