For no reason other than because... Thanks DPECK!

So last weekend I get a PM from Dpeck. Now i really haven't spoken to him much on the boards except through threads. A comment here, a comment there - so he writes to me telling me that he has a Canseco card that he wants to give me. I know, Canseco....lame I know, but hey - that's who I collect. So he says he has a really nice card that he was thinking about sending off but he wants me to have it instead for my PC. So today I get a package in the mail. I was expecting one card but yet it contained 12! Sure enough they are sweet looking Canseco rookies. One that might possibly be even a 10!

What a nice gesture. Heres this person that I only know thru the boards and they send me cards of my favorite player for no reason at all except for respect of the hobby and a just because gesture. Wow! This board really is amazing at times. And it came at the perfect time too because I was having such a bad day and something as getting some sweet looking (and gradable Canseco cards) made my day just like that.

    Thanks for helping me with that again Mike. I'm going to send it off tomorrow... And to Dpeck, cant thank you enough man. My Canseco PC is getting pretty sick!

    I still remember the crap dpeck got when he first joined for all his wrestling posts. I found his enthusiasm, knowledge and insight on the unknown subject of wrestling cards very interesting. And lord knows he hit the nail on the head with his prediction for the wrestling card market. While I wasn't necessarily alone then in my perceptions, I for sure am not now. I don't post often, but members like dpeck and their posts are why I keep coming back.
