PSA/DNA Ruth signed ball value

Hi Guys,

A friend of mine has two signed Ruth baseballs. He sent one out to PSA/DNA, and they authenticated it. He is going to try to sell it and asked me if I can help him. How do I find out what one is worth? He is supposed to send me a scan later today.

Would appreciate some advice from the more knowledgable on this one.

Condition of the sig and ball, location of the sig, type of ball, salutation or not, era of the signature, multi or individual signed are all potential driving factors as to value.

Anywhere from $500 to $100,000 depending on the variables above and what entity sells it/auctions it/promotes it

  • Thanks Mike. Hopefully I can get a scan to help narrow it down.

  • Reminds me that when I was 17 working in a card shop I had the chance to buy a very good looking ruth signed ball. Sadly, couldnt come up with the dough. Now just my white whale.

That might be a $10,000 ball. Make sure it goes to a good auction house, I think an advanced collector would be very happy with that ball.
