Since Gehrig batted 4th and Ruth 3rd in 1927, I think (but am not sure at all) Gehrig hit a home run and Ruth was on base......so they met up at the plate as Ruth was probably doing his trot and Lou sped around the bases.....just a guess though. Text
Love that card Leon! I have three wrestlers from the set and looking for one other wrestler. If you know where to find some of these cards let me know.

<< <i>What's the grade on the Killebrew ? 8.5 ??? The first frame has a pic of the manager under his legs. In the 2nd and 3rd frame, the manager turns into the team doctor. >>
That looks like Paul O'Neil under his legs in Pic #2!

#LetsGoSwitzerlandThe Man Who Does Not Read Has No Advantage Over the Man Who Cannot Read. The biggest obstacle to progress is a habit of “buying what we want and begging for what we need.”You get the Freedom you fight for and get the Oppression you deserve.
I've got 2. The first one is obvious! It is my son, Andrew!
The second one is the ending to the greatest Word Series game EVER played - Game 6 of the 2011 World Series. David Freese goes deep to end it in extra innings after the Cardinals were down to their last strike TWICE! That was the greatest baseball moment I have ever witnessed. Even if I was not a Cardinals fan, I think I would have to agree with my statement. Sure, the 1975 WS Game 6 has had more publicity because of the passing of time, but I don't think it can measure up to last year's Game 6.

I'd have to say that Game 6 of the '86 WS was the best. But you are a Cards fan ... and I am a METS fan.

<< <i>The most impressive part is that Killebrew went from long to short sleeves during the at bat!
Frame 2 and 3 appear to be from the same swing, (you can tell from the fans) but frame 1 is definitly different...interesting!
Was Harmon a drinker ??? If he was, he has a great last name for it.
The first frame has a pic of the manager under his legs. In the 2nd and 3rd frame, the manager turns into the team doctor.

Killebrew card is a PSA 8 but was graded before the .5.
Harmon was supposedly a complete non-drinker, but may have tipped a few when no one was looking.
Actually his swing was so powerful it blew the hat and the logo off the guy in the dugout!!
