I went to my LCS today... planned to pick up 3-4 boxes of Topps Chrome that just hit the streets today... ended up walking out with a fresh case!

I'm gonna bust the whole thing tonight... and will update with the best hits, box-by-box!

Box #5 - Finally, a Sepia Refractor! Very nice looking card, thought they'd be rarer than #d/75! I was already sick of Tom Milone autographs after my 5-box break of Finest... this is getting sickening Decent box though!

Last year in the minors he had a SO / BB ratio of 7.93 in 78 innings. This year in the majors it is over 3.00 in 47 games. Stays healthy should be a good one

I got 4 base Trout's... the one I pictured was a Refractor. Since they're not RC's, I didn't really consider his base cards "hits".

For the most part, in busting a case, I generally got 3-4 of each card... and many 5-6 of each.

Sorted through them all, made 3 complete sets... which ain't too bad for 1 case!

I got regular refractors of Kyle Seager and Tim Fedrowicz, but that's it.

I plan to keep 2 of the complete sets... the non-refractor Auto's... and a handful of cards of grading for my PC (Harper, Cespedes, Darvish, Trout, Pujols & Freese)... otherwise, pretty much everything else falls under the non-wanted category!

Ya you just have to find someone local selling for less than $100/box

It was $75/box at the show I was at yesterday.

My LCS has them for $69... but since I bought a whole case, he gave them to me for $64 each... which still ended up being $69.03 a box after tax.
