Did you buy that recently? Do you mind me asking you how much it set you back?
If I were going to resell I would get it in a PSA holder. If I was going to keep the card I would prefer the BGS holder.
I did not know a subgrade could be below a 1.
** Working on the following sets-2013 Spectra Football Hall of Fame 50th Anniversary Autograph set, 2015 Spectra Football Illustrious Legends Autograph set, 2014-15 Hall of Fame Heroes autograph set. **
This is not a recent purchase. I've had this since about 2005(?). Interesting story how I got this, and back into collecting:
I saw someone selling a collection on eBay with this and a LOT of other goodies (a few Mantle autos, Ted Williams autos, lots of game used and auto cards, PSA Clemente cards.....etc....). My goal was to sell off everything else and keep this card since it was something I always wanted (and at that time I had the means to do it). This was the crown jewel of the collection (obviously). Thing is, it was raw. This was before I really knew about grading and the importance of it. My local card shop told me that Beckett was the most trusted one. I didn't know any better, so I listened. Once I got it back, the flood gates opened and jumped head first into collecting again. I paid $5500 for the collection, couldn't tell you exactly how much I made back from the sale of the other stuff, but at the end of the day, I probably "paid" fair market value for the card at the time. Looking back, I kinda wish I kept most of the stuff since some of it is now on my "want" list. Since then, I've been through some peaks and valleys with collecting, took time off and came back again. Now, I'm in one of those phases where I'm in and sorta focused on a few specific things. I might leave again for a while, but chances are at some point I will return.
I'm building a 1968 and a 1970 Topps set. I have lots of 1970s and 1960s to offer in trade.
