Just Some Simple Enjoyment - Card Video/Slideshow

Was getting to know my slideshow program and put this together.
Thought some fellow card enthusiasts might enjoy. Was really inspired by that great display by year and write up in another thread, great stuff.
Couldn't get this one perfect, but still fun.
Hope it provides as mellowing an escape for others as it does for me.
Best,
MC

And yes, have had way too much idle time this weekend, visiting family.

Collecting 1970s Topps baseball wax, rack and cello packs, as well as PCGS graded Half Cents, Large Cents, Two Cent pieces and Three Cent Silver pieces.
I just recently purchased 3 simple cards for my collection. All PSA 10's
1) 1986 Topps baseball checklist #527
2) 1988 Topps Traded baseball Pat Tabler #118T
3) 1988 Topps Traded baseball Sil Campusano #24T
Less then $50 delivered. Its what I want and what I like.
Have a great w/e!

<< <i>Yep, Paul, it can be so wonderfully simple: finding cards that make you happy for prices that do the same. All else can melt away and fall by the wayside. >>
+1
I used to collect coins and loved it so, but I really LOVE collecting Baseball cards. I really don't care for the other sports per say, but I admire others that collect them. If I had won the lottery, I would collect all of the Topps Baseball sets from 1952-Date.

I really liked your video. I also LOVE your Koufax rookie. I am still drooling. BTW, how did your McCovey rookie only get a 5.5?

T206 Set - 300/524
No doubt the poor feller had a rough day with the graders. Could definitely become a 6.5 on review, but have never reviewed any of those cards except the 52 and 56 Micks. There is definite, uniform corner wear that holds it back for sure tho.
Thanks, Mark. The Koufax was a challenge because after a long search I found an 8 with no background smudging but centering that hurt eye appeal and this 8 with the smudging but standout centering. I chose the latter because to me centering is #1 in determining eye appeal, especially if say viewed in a wall-mounted case from several inches away. The few extant 9s have the good centering & no smudging, but those are out of my league.
That was cool. You have some great cards. Love the 51B Mantle.
