Question about grading

I have a bunch of '76 Topps to send in. Very nice, but under a 12x loupe, on some of them you can see some small "hairs" along the edges. Do these deduct from the grade much if at all?

Not really sure about what you are refering to as small ' hairlines'............but under 12X magnification..............that is looking really close ! Can you see them at say 7X ............as that is what I use ! Not sure if Psa looks that close ! I think we would really need to see a enlarged scan to really give an opinion ?

"Hairs" along the edges could be a good thing. Lots of Topps cards edges were not perfectly, cut these "hairs" could be an indicator that the cards are unaltered, kind of like the OPC rough cut.

Can you post a scan of the edge of the card that shows the "hairs"?

The "hair is off the left side by his left sleeve.
