Home Trading Cards & Memorabilia Forum

Another newbie to the forum

Hello all,

Just joined the forum and wanted to introduce myself. I am from NY and have been collecting cards since my childhood in the early '80s. Most of my collection is Baseball/Football graded RC's from the 80s & 90s. Lately I have been getting into some of the older unopened 70's/80's wax stuff. It is a nice piece of nostalgia that takes me back. I look forward to participating in some of the vintage wax breaks, they seem like a lot of fun.

Yes, BU it was. Didn't get to sightsee much as grad school is very tough there. I did visit the Rat a lot though and took in some Binghamton Rangers games before they left for Hartford. It is really beautiful there in the fall with the trees changing colors, but don't stay past October otherwise you'll be digging out until April, LOL.

Mike (BigMK), a few of us Long Islanders from Suffolk get together every so often. Let me know if you'd be interested in meeting us and talking cards. If you turn your option on for private messages, I can give you details.

Former upstater but I've driven to LI and Binghamton. Does that count?!

Let us hope that if you collect them unopened you leave them sealed!
