Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.

    I feel like the golden helmet is iconic and they should really stay with that. Not really sure I like these uniforms.
    I am on a budget and I am not afraid to use it!!

    I really liked the hammered gold helmets when I first saw them last season. I am NOT a fan of the split-look helmets (i.e., Maryland last year) and I don't like this ND helmet. I do think the pugnacious leprechaun is one of college football's best logos and suggest it would make a great looking sleeve patch on these black jerseys.

    Seriously? Is that for real? I think I just threw up a bit in the back of my mouth. I much prefer the gold helmet, and basically plain uniform with the exception of a small interlocking ND. If this is the new uniform, at least they kept the names off the back. (names draw attention to the individual and not to the team)

    LOL, yep! I'm not holding my breath though. Some tough games on the schedule and a mediocre team, that's not a good combination. image

    They are only using the uniform for the game at Soldier Field against Miami, but I must agree they are awful.

    Mike ... I believe the article said the uniforms were for the "Shamrock Series" against Miami.

    A lot of schools have gotten these promotional uniforms lately and all of them look so futuristic that they look like a they come from a movie about a fictional football team in 2053...almost fake looking.

    As a Michigan fan, all I can say is:

    THESE ARE THE GREATEST UNIFORMS EVER.

    BWAHAHAHAHA.

    Man those are terrible. They're ugly and a disgrace to all Notre Dame tradition. Good grief.

    Horrific.......traditional powers don't need gimmicks, old school is the way to go.
