Collection Intervention

Has antone seen the new series on I think the SYFY channel called Collection Intervention. It is about when people's collection take over their lives this show will come in and try to help these people sell off some of their collection. The episdoe had this lady 's Star Wars collection that took over her whole house. They came in to try and have her sell some stuff so that her and her husband can actually live in their house since every sqare foot was covered in Star Wars. Another section of the show had this guy and his Catwoman collection. He sold some to get out of debt.

    My wife has allowed me one room in our house. If it escapes out of that room, I get in trouble. So she is keeping me from being on that show.

    Great show. The woman walks a fine line in getting people to realize their collection can't take over their life but doesn't say stop collecting. There are some things in there that are good for some of us to hear and others just to keep in mind.

    ya i watched it and all i saw was a woman forcing a guy to sell his toys so she can go spend the money, thats all i saw,,, toys last forever, you can always trade up women,, like Billy Bean said,,, "Adapt or Die", ,,,its like these guys that give up there cars they stuck so much money into and have their new wife say get rid of the car or i'm leaving,, i say, dont let the door hit ya where the good lord split ya,,,,j

    Our wives are very understanding. Our one bedroom in Manhattan has lots of shelves with Binders. She bought a leather ottoman for our living room guess what. Top comes off perfect for binders. She even encouraged me to go to the National and was non-plussed by my purchase of a 1961 Fleer Basketball set. Great gal!!
