Shows in the Detroit area - 9/7 or 9/14 weekend

I'm heading to Detroit either on 9/7 or 9/14. Does anyone know of a card show going on those weekends? I know that the Gibralter Shows are on both weekends, but I would prefer a Mall or VFW hall show.
On a related note, how is the hobby business in the Motor City? When I visited a few years ago, the Gibralter show was a fraction of what it used to be.
