  • << <i>I have a copy of Tompkins Bust Quarter book, and Briggs' Seated Quarter book. Both of these books incurred slight wear during my recent move. But there are absolutely no rips or missing pages.

I will sell both books together for just $60 shipped. That is about a 50% discount from buying them brand new. Check or money order only please. I would highly prefer to sell them together. This is a great opportunity for someone who has never had a chance to own these great books.

I am familiar with the individual named above. Has an interesting history here, and on eBay. Are you certain that earlyrarecoins is this person?

If earlyrarecoins is in fact located in Rochester, N.Y. I'll be happy to pick these items up sight seen in person, C.O.D., in a public venue.

The OP can respond here. I will not accept PM's from you.

That is the address on the postal money order I sent him.

  • This man has been harrassing me for a refund, but REFUSES to discuss returning the coins. He expects the refund prior to sending the coins back. He also threatened me that it was a felony to cash his money order. Even though he fully admits that he received the coins that the money order was written for. Dealing with people like this is a good reason to withdraw from society.

I don't even want to get started on BuzzysBest. This man buys a coin from you and then calls you 25 times a day to make sure the world isn't falling apart before the coin gets there. Sorry Lee, I can't spend 5 hours every day talking to you on the phone. I could have made a few hundred dollars collecting bottles in the time I wasted talking with you.

I'll gladly give you all the extra money I ever make as long as I don't have to listen to you two any more. Keep the god damn coins.

  • Not to mention I had told Tom that this was an emergency sale (I listed it as such) to pay my rent. And if he wanted a refund I would offer it, but I would need to resell the coins to obtain the funds for his refund.

So now I am trying to resell the coins, but without the coins in hand. Which makes potential buyers suspicious. I have been through this about 10 times with Tom. But he just prefers to threaten me, and now threaten me in public.

I'll head to the police department this weekend and give them all the information they want if that is what he would like.

I swear to Jesus this is the final time I will ever conduct business with anyone. Tom is using the mentality of a 5 year old, and no matter how many times I explain to him, he relapses into his same threat.

If I had the extra money now I would give it to him and tell him to keep the god damn coins just so he shuts up. I haven't even bought food in over a month, I've lost 25 pounds because I have almost nothing to eat every day. If you would send the god damn coins back I would resell them and give you the refund. You would have had the refund already if you did that right from the start.

But you refuse. You insist on making it as difficult as possible for yourself.

Let's get this straight.....YOU indicated the coins were not cleaned or polished in emails exchanged. I received the CHROME polished quarters.

Who in their right mind, would even consider to let you have the cash and the CHROME polished coins in YOUR hands, prior to a refund??

When you send a refund, you can have the chrome back.

How about the other poster here? Are you going to send them a refund as well?

  • Lee has never even asked me for a refund. He hasn't sent me one private message since I mailed out the coin.

Sorry Lee, I can't answer your continuous phone calls throughout the day. I can't even keep my cell phone charged when I have to talk to you.

  • And Lee, I've seen countless similar coins residing in PCGS holders, don't lie to me and yourself by saying it's heavily cleaned.

  • Where is your reasoning Tom, you just keep manage to avoid explaining yourself in any detail. You are full of lots of sound bites, but provide no level of rigorous thinking.

  • I never once hung up on you. And if you send in the phone records, you will hear our discussion about the dropped calls due to my cell phone service. But why would you submit the phone records? For what purpose? I told you I would always want to buy the coin back for the same price, but I would not have the funds immediately. So what is your purpose? Are you incapable of remembering order of events and intentions?

It is a serious question, do you have a mental disability of some kind that causes you to act this way?

I'll be happy to let the police or FBI examine my phone records, including the several calls that you made to me,and then hung up on!
  • I'll be calling Harry Miller tomorrow.

I brought the coin to Harry Miller of Millersmint.com to examine. He gave me that opinion. And I have never lied to you about anything!
  • That coin with that detail has never once sold for $50 or less even if it had a hole in it. More evidence that you have no clue what you're doing. God save me from these lunatics. Check the damn auction archives and leave me the hell alone

<< <i>I'll be calling Harry Miller tomorrow. >>

Of course that's your right, but please know that I sold him that coin for $50. So if you believe it has such great value, maybe he'll sell it back to you for $100! >>

So you're requesting a refund and posting my name in public, but you've already sold the coin to someone else? This is beyond words, I can't understand any of this. It was the worst choice to ever speak with you in the first place. I would have rather been evicted and live on the street than have to deal with you.

Your first post demanded a refund. So how were you planning on returning the coin? You've sold it to someone else already. How could you return the coin if you don't have it?

I am an established regular here. I would not EVER want to buy from you. Especially with the knowledge of your antics on eBay.

    Remember that scheme?
