eBay/Paypal question...

If you won a auction from an eBay newbie, paid for said auction and found out that the email used to send the money to is unregistered, how long would you let that transaction stay pending? I tried contacting the seller (last week), no answer as of yet.

    Did you try contacting him through ebay or through the e-mail addy? If through ebay stop the transaction and move on and if he tries to file an unpaid item strike, call ebay and get it removed.

    I had the same thing happen to me last week, however the seller said he would ship the item and for me to log into paypal and pay directly through paypal. I am waiting for the item to arrive before sending payment just to make sure it isn't a scam.
