Selling entire collection here! Just added a very cool lot of 55-P Roosevelt dimes...check it out!

I am here to sell, with no reasonable offer refused! image

Greetings!

I haven’t been on the boards here for quite awhile now, but was very active up through 2007 when I got divorced and had some
major priority changes in my life going on. Since then I have sold a business, started a new business, but haven’t had any time to
devote to coins.

I sold off some of my collection here last winter. Now, due to some further shifting of priorities and the need to raise some quick
cash, I have decided to sell the remainder of my collection.

Those who may remember me know that I was an avid collector of Jefferson nickels, actively seeking out some of the cool varieties
and some of the most beautifully toned examples to be found. When I was active on these boards, I had many transactions with
other board members and hope to hear from some of you again! image My ebay ID (solid) has an 847 rating, but I’ve only had a few
transactions since Dec ’06 due to the previously mentioned circumstances.

My descriptions are accurate and conservative, and I am a square shooter. If I say a coin is awesome, you can bank on it. On the
other hand, my coin photography skills pretty much suck - so bear that in mind! image

Meanwhile, if you have an interest in any specific coins, please contact me and I will work with people in the order of messages received.

Thank you!

Ken

Lincoln 1c – MS

* 2001 – PCGS MS67RD – lustrous, well-struck, light red toning. #8490 $12 (or both for $20)

* 2001-D – PCGS MS67RD – lustrous, well-struck, light red toning. #8491 $12 (or both for $20)

Buffalo 5c – MS

* 1938-D/S – PCGS MS67 Buffalo – well struck, lustrous with few marks. Absolutely gorgeous album toning rose centers, shifting to
blue and then to gold/green at the edge. This is a stunning coin with premium toning. I have looked at many, many of the PCGS MS67
examples and have never seen another with toning this nice!!! I paid $2,750 for this years ago. Will sacrifice at $2,000 and you will be
a happy camper! #1408 Photo

Jefferson 5c – MS

* 1938-S - PCGS MS66 – very lustrous, very well struck (should be FS), very lightly toned. This was one of just a few coins I had set aside
for possible regarding, but never got around to sending them in. #0286 $45

* 1939-D Rev of 40 – PCGS MS66FS (Rev 40 not noted on label) – lustrous, well-struck, beautiful medium gold/rose toning on the
obverse with gold/rose/blue toning on the reverse. Very nice and rare coin! # 1670 Photo Paid $2500 for this in 2002 - will sacrifice for $1750 obo

* 1939-D Rev 38 – ANACS MS67 Rev of 1938 – lustrous, very well struck coin (I’m not sure of the current standards but this could easily be a
FS coin), truly beautiful gold, green and pink album toning, this is a gorgeous coin in any holder! #2962 $350

* 1940-D – PCGS MS67FS – good luster, well-struck, very beautiful album toning with both the obverse and reverse having a mostly green/gold
center with pink, blue and green in the fields. Truly gorgeous coin! Note: The pliable insert in this slab a little warped from me attempting to
photograph it a number of years ago and leaving it under hot lights a little too long. The coin has remained perfectly stable since – it just could
use a reholdering. # 8871 Photo $400

* 1943-S “Floating Head” – PCGS MS66FS – lustrous, strong steps, very lightly toned, light die cracks on reverse, #6504 The “floating head” is
a phenomenon I noticed with a few specific dates of Jefferson nickels where the observe die was polished to the point where Jefferson’s adams
apple was 100% missing, making it look as though is head is “floating” above the collar. This is an interesting variety that I actively searched out
for years, but only found a few true examples. Photo $75

* 1943-S “Floating Head” – PCGS MS66 – lustrous, very lightly toned, light die cracks on reverse, #8372 Photo $45

* 1943-S “Floating Head” – NGC MS67 – very lustrous, virtually untoned, light die cracks obverse and reverse, #126-027 Photo $45

* 1944-D – PCGS MS66FS – Nice luster, well-struck 6-step coin with very nice light gold/red and a tinge of blue album toning. Pretty coin! #7348 Photo $110

* 1944-D – PCGS MS65FS – Very lustrous, good strike, attractive very light gold/light blue toning. Pretty! #4413 Photo $40

* 1944-S – NGC MS66* - good luster and an ok strike but what makes this coin is the absolutely phenomenal concentric album toning with rose
centers, shifting to blue/green/gold shifting to well defined pink/green/blue edges. Outstanding toned war nickel!!! # 097-001 Photo $350

* 1944-S “Floating Head” – NGC MS66FS – lustrous, lightly toned, many die cracks including one on the reverse running from 12 o’clock to 6 o’clock
(same die as the previous PCGS coin), # 157-021 Photo $80

* 1950 – PCGS MS65FS – very lustrous, good strike, extremely light toning. Nice coin. #3585 Photo $120

* 1955-D/S OMM #4 – PCGS MS65 (the D/S is noted on the label, but OMM #4 is not) – very lustrous, typical weak strike, attractive light gold
toning. This is an interesting coin. I’m not sure of the current policy, but believe that at the time this coin was slabbed, PCGS was supposedly
only giving the D/S designation to OMM #1 coins. There were many other D/S variety for this date as many dies slated for the San Francisco mint
were shipped to Denver and repunched with a “D” mintmark. I searched many of the 55-D/S PCGS coins specifically seeking out the other varieties
and found a couple. #1695 Photo $180

* 1955-D/S OMM #1 – PCGS MS64 (the D/S is noted on the label, but OMM #1 is not) - lustrous, typical weak strike, attractive light gold tone, this is
the variety they were supposed to denote. Nice coin! #6457 Photo $55

* 1955-D/S OMM #5 – PCGS MS64 (the D/S is noted on the label, but OMM #5 is not) – very lustrous, typical weak strike, attractive light gold tone,
very similar to the OMM #1 variety. Great coin! #4692 Photo $50

* 1958-D – PCGS MS66FS – lustrous, very well struck 6-step coin, very lightly toned. This was one of just a few coins I had set aside for possible
regrading, but never got around to sending them in. #6127 $110

* 1983-P “Floating Head” – ANACS MS62 – lustrous, weakly struck, lightly toned, and many marks befitting the grade. I purchased it at auction
specifically because of the “Floating Head” and have never seen another of this date. Photo $45

*** Uncertified coins ***

* Here is a very interesting lot. Many years ago I was able to purchase 184 (yes, 184) original BU rolls of 1955-P Roosevelt dimes
stored in plastic tubes from a large hoard. I sat on these rolls for several years before deciding to look through them all for gems,
which took days! In the end, I pulled out 112 choice coins and put them in 1.5x1.5 cardboard holders with the idea that I would
send them in for grading sometime. This never happened as I've only sent a few coins in for grading, ever. These are all original,
bright silver, fully lustrous, undipped coins. I am no Roosevelt grading expert, but I would have to say these are all at least MS65,
with some definite 66's in there and probably at least a few 67's, as well. I don't know the current standards for FB designation,
but a quick look through some of these show some well struck coins with what looks like fully split bands to me. There are also many
coins with interesting clashed dies and die cracks. There is one coin that I left sitting unholdered for some reason and over the
years it has toned a nice even blue-green on the obverse with what looks like concentric album toning on the rims of the
reverse (it was never in an album, just sat loose on top of the rows of cardboard 1.5x1.5's). There is $224 silver value here and
I will sell the lot for $650 obo. I will not accept returns on this due to the quantity of coins and nature of the holders but, if you'd
like to take a calculated risk, I believe this lot will make some Roosevelt collector out there very, very happy, indeed! A rare
opportunity - it's like buying 184 original BU rolls and not having to search through them yourself. image

**SOLD** As part of the same deal as the 55-P dimes, I also purchased around twenty 55-P & 56-P original BU Franklin rolls. I pulled out
the choice coins, which included half a dozen or so Bugs Bunny halves (which are long gone). What I have left is (7) 55-P and (2) 56-P
BU halves in 2x2's. These are very nice, bright, undipped, fully lustrous MS64/65 coins that are well-struck with pretty much full bell lines, though a
minor nick or two may preclude that designation (I'm not up on the current standards). One of the 56-P's has very pretty, light gold
rim toning and the second 56-P has wild blue, purple and gold toning from sitting in a jar with a few match heads for over a year - the
one and only time I've ever tried anything like this! There is $90 silver value here and I will sell the lot for $125 obo.

**SOLD** Also part of the same deal were a few BU rolls of 54-P Washington quarters. Again, I pulled out the choice coins and ended up with
eight of these in 2x2's and have never had them graded. They are bright, undipped, fully lustrous coins. I would say there are two MS64
coins, four MS65 coins and two MS66 coins here. $65 obo buys the lot.
