40% for 90% silver trade opinion

Just want to hear some thoughts on if you would trade your 40% for 90% and at what price for each. I have a fair amount of 40% and have been offered 7.5, in trade for 90% at 20x. Is it even worth bothering to exchanging at this time, storage is not a problem.

It has been my experience, that it is harder to convert 40% into cash or other at any time. 90% is easy.....all the way around.

I'd trade it out whenever its a good enough deal for you. Either partially or over time. Any 40% I have is only because I came across a good deal.

Will be dumping my small amt of 40% it as soon as silver goes up, as I pre-bought it already in .999 at todays price.

If you already have %90, why not go to .999 base Silver or ASE's or Gold?

90% is a bit pricier because it is easily recognized and accepted as bullion.

40% can be sold at good prices, but mostly only in quantity. Plus you have to check EVERY coin in the damn bag.

    << <i>.....I have a fair amount of 40% and have been offered 7.5................. >>

Does that mean the person willing to trade with you will give you $7.50 trade value for every $1.00 of 40% you have?

    If so......

For every $100 face value of 40% you trade, you will lose 2.5 ounces of silver, or approx. $70 based on recent silver spot.

    $100 face value 40% (29.6 ounces) = $750 in trade value

    $750 "buys" you $37.50 in 90% (27.1 ounces)

    Edited to fix some math
