Are These Prices High?

I just completed my PSA 1963 Topps set and was cruising eBay for some upgrades and found this. I thought I knew prices on this set but it seems not.

    Well...the Veale sold for $1,400 way back in 2007. Maybe the price has stayed the same for 5 years (I doubt it, but hey)....

    The McAuliffe sold for $1,100 back in 2008, but with the Registry Hound out of the way and a little time under the belt, it sold again for $340 back in 2011. This seller is obviously hanging onto 2007 prices and is hoping for a suc.....uhh.......registry enthusiast. I think we have here an instance where even though the supply is limited, the demand just really isn't there to support those 4 figured prices anymore.
