On regrades, what were the factors in your decision to resubmit? Did you crack them open first? If so, what method do you use?

I have a US $2 1/2 eagle that I'm considering re-grading but not sure if the time is right. It was slabbed in the mid 1990s so not OGH but still ...

No crack out simply looked at pieces that I felt were undergraded - NGC did a review and bumped them up.
