I do not believe that either party is right or wrong or that a coin sale need be a zero sum game. I do believe that you should wait until you can find an example in a PCGS holder and be prepared to pay the appropriate price (and it will likely be more than the price guides say). This deal is not for you (or the other guy)--it is simply not meant to be--and there's nothing wrong with that.

As long as a sale is between a willing buyer and seller, it's never a zero sum game. Nobody voluntarily enters into a transaction that they feel will make them worse off afterwards.
