don't put any money on that.. they're still VERY young and they need a lot of improvement on different possitions.. but they'll be a good team in the future as long as they can stay together, they can draft Ming and Dickerson is back

i know i'm not surprised. Pau is great and will be even better soon. But am i the only one who thought Richard Jefferson was the BEST rookie? i mean he's in the game in crunch time taking big shots and playing great defense. o yeah i'm not a Nets fan so i am in no way biased. Actually i only live 3 1/2 hours from Memphis. i gotta get to a few of there games next year.

Seriously though, I think it's pretty hard to argue that gasol was the best rookie, and for that matter, the guy is going to be a legit star soon, I actually like him better than Nowitzki (I think Gasol is a more explosive to the hoop).

As for parker, as a spurs fan and etenal pessimist, I did wonder about him but you gotta hand it to him...the guy is 19 and holding his own against gary payton.

I agree that jefferson is going to be a great player, funny remember how everyone was slamming New jersey for that Eddie Griffin trade, and now Jefferson alone is better than Griffin and Armstrong and Collins have gotten some nice minutes too.

Jefferson would get 15-18 a game on the Grizzlies, but Gasol is very good...

I liked Gasol from the start. Wish he shot the 3 alittle more, it's in his range. Ah, don't I look smart for scooping up all best RC's at mid season..... Guys you also forgot to mention that the Grizz got Jerry West...oh yea he's the guy who like kobe before kobe was really anything. Damn, he's going to get the Grizz who are full of tallent (maybe get Ming) and will probably take most of the credit when they start winning. Ah well, I see the Grizz becoming a great and fun team to watch in 2-3 seasons. It's a shame they are still not in Vancouver though, they had to suffer through losing more than those guys will have to.
