Interesting medals. For some reason, the first thought I had when I saw the first medal was "Trojan Horse"

The Trojan Horse motif is fascinating. I found a reference to the medal in some old German text.
The French had occupied the area and the Imperial Army (whatever that would be, in 1707) of the Rhine took its position outside the city of Ettlingen, in Baden Baden.
Apparently there was some success on September 24, 1707.

I was unable to find out more, but it is possible that the event had something to do with the internal conflict between Braunschweig-Luneburg and Saxe-Lauenburg.
