Low premiums on AES

I bought a roll of silver eagles at a shop yesterday for $30 a piece. Price was the same with one dealer at the Philly show. These premiums seem to be quite low, a buying opportunity IMO.

Good deal. I sold all my ASE Rolls when Silver was around $44. Bought them at $9-$12 Silver. Bought about 200 ounces of various 2010 5 oz pucks in 2010, but still bullion anyway. Big mistake. Right now I am not stacking Silver or Gold.
  • When selling, dealers offer less for single coins than for rolls. I have seen a number of dealers offering them for $30-$31.

That's still a roughly $2.50 - 3.00 premium. That's a deal? I've been able to buy them cheaper than that (the premium I am speaking of) in volume even when Spot was in the high $30's/low $40's.

Premiums tend to go up when spot drops and/or people "feel" it is low. $2.50-$3 over spot for 1 roll of Eagles right now is quite good. I can't even get that price per ounce on a monster box of them, even before shipping/insurance to Canada.
