Another new collectors buy/sell site

Collector Revolution

The "testimonial" part of the video is pretty bad, but the idea of the site is good. No listing fees, a 5% maximum selling fee and completely free sales of items $5 or under.

I took this from the blowout forum. Let's be a bit more mature about it than those rubes were. It's not about the cheesy video, it's about the site.

  • Aside from the cheesy testimonials, I think this site has the potential to do well... We'll see.

As long as the interface isn't clunky(like beckett) and their site is reliable, I would give it a shot for buying and selling.

The be all and and all of any eBay rival is traffic...

At the end of the day, eBay is not the hub of online sports cards and collectibles selling because it is perfect, it is because it has "outwitted, outplayed, and outlasted" all of the other sites (i.e. Yahoo auctions).

This, or any competitor site, needs to get traffic, it needs the support and confidence of heavy-hitters (Probstein, PWCC, brentandbecca, etc.) if it is going to go anywhere.
