i am the sous chef (second in command so to speak lol) at the walpole country club. very nice place - tons of work though

    I work for Kroger. I am employeed at one of their main distrabution centers in Bluffton IN.
    I work in the Inventory Control Department. The facility I work in deals with 100's of stores
    all around the nation. Production runs around 130,000 cases of full product, around 800,000
    pieces of product (which is put into totes), over $1 million in RX sales, over 18,000 cartons of
    ciggaretts, and another $1 million in sales in the DDI room, and this is just over one 24 hour
    period. The place runs 24 hours, except for 1st and 2nd shift Sunday, which is then closed.
    The plant I work in is 800,000 square feet, with 2 outside storeage warehouses, which makes
    it over 1 million square feet of storeage. I am in charge of keeping track and making sure
    inventory matches computer printouts. If not, then figure out where the problem is, and
    fix it. I work about half in the office, and half out on the floor. There is a total of around 1200
    employees there. I work 3rd shift, which is nice and quiet, since my boss works 1st shift, and
    I'm lucky to see her maybe 2 times a year. That's abuout it.

    I used to be a carpenter but have been disabled for 3 and a half years because a roof I was standing on collapsed. I am on workers comp but am hoping to get back to collage soon and get retrained in another field. After I recover enough. 5 surguries and possibly more to go.

    I used to go to Northern Canada to hunt baby seals, but those darn Greenpeace people ruined the business. Then I tried selling crack for a while, made a lot of money, but I couldn't stand the hours and the constant beeping all night long on my pager. I saved some of my crack money and bought a purple Cadillac and big hat, but AI3TheAnswer was too tough a competitor, plus my girls tended to have no teeth. That turned off a few customers.

    Now I run one of those laser vision centers. When no one is around I take the lasers and pretend I'm Luke Skywalker.
